Sky looks full of snow.
Here is no hoodoo:
too far north to work
its wily way with luck.
Music offers succor
to raise the temperature
where sun’s so bright
bodies shine all night
dancing, happy now,
no need for voodoo.
Rustle up some beans
and rice, let’s sit a spell
before we lie down
to make a body wail.

Who needs magic? Music, yes!
